Refund policy

We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, here is how returns work.

30-day returns (US orders)

For orders delivered in the United States, you have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase.

Orders outside the United States

We don't accept change-of-mind returns on orders shipped outside the United States. If an item arrives damaged, defective or not what you ordered, email derrick@kitchuan.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll refund you in full. You don't need to send the item back.

This doesn't limit any rights you have under the consumer law of your country. For example, in the EU and the UK you can cancel an online order within 14 days of delivery; to do so, email us within that time and return the items at your own cost.

How to start a return

Email derrick@kitchuan.com with your order number and the items you'd like to return. We reply within one business day with return instructions and the return address. US returns go back to our fulfillment center in the United States. Items sent back without a return request will not be accepted.

Return shipping

For change-of-mind returns, the customer covers return shipping. If an item arrived damaged or defective, or we sent the wrong item, we replace it or refund you in full and cover the shipping.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us within 7 days if an item is defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, so we can make it right.

1-year replacement guarantee

Our flatware comes with a 1-year replacement guarantee. If a piece rusts or is damaged in any way within one year of delivery, email derrick@kitchuan.com with your order number and a photo, and we'll send a replacement free of charge. For orders outside the United States, we give you a refund instead of sending a replacement.

Exceptions

Custom or personalized items (for example engraved pieces) and items marked final sale cannot be returned. Wholesale orders are covered by the terms in the order confirmation.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, place a new order.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll let you know whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days; your bank or card issuer may need extra time to post it. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at derrick@kitchuan.com.
