How many people does it serve?
Four. Each place setting has five pieces: a dinner knife, dinner fork, salad fork, dinner spoon and teaspoon. For a table of eight, see the 40-piece set, which has the same pattern and finish.

What's the difference between silver and black?
The finish. Both colors come with the same pieces in the same pattern and sizes; silver is polished to a bright mirror shine, and black has a soft matte black PVD finish.

Will the black finish wear off?
The black is a PVD finish, a vacuum-deposited coating that is much harder-wearing than paint or spray finishes. To keep it looking its best, avoid abrasive scrubbers and bleach-based detergents, and dry the pieces after washing. If the finish wears off or gets damaged within a year, our 1-year replacement guarantee covers it.

Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes. Use a mild detergent without bleach, and dry the pieces soon after the cycle to avoid water spots.

Will it rust?
Stainless steel resists rust and corrosion. Like any stainless flatware, it can spot if left wet or in contact with salty or acidic food for a long time, so rinse and dry it after use. If a piece does rust within a year, our 1-year replacement guarantee covers it.

What if a piece arrives damaged or has a defect?
